The Dance Troupe Aka ó Pele was created in 2007, which dances derive from Polynesia: Hawaii, Tahiiti and so on.

In Hawaiian language, the name Aka ´o Pele means the figure of the fire goddess.

The dancegroup started to learn Polynesian dances in Finland with Kirsi Teräs. Further on studyed in San Fransico, USA.
