The Dance Troupe Aka ó Pele was created in 2007, which dances derive from Polynesia: Hawaii, Tahiiti and so on.

In Hawaiian language, the name Aka ´o Pele means the figure of the fire goddess.

The dancegroup started to learn Polynesian dances in Finland. The first instructor was Kirsi Teräs (http://koti.welho.com/kniemi19/Manaolaka/).
